Commitment also includes using Tim’s broad-reaching email list to help downballot candidates raise funds for their own campaigns
Tim Ryan’s U.S. Senate campaign is committing to investing more than $3 million to build a strong coordinated campaign that can reach voters in every corner of Ohio and help elect candidates up and down the ticket.
“Tim launched his campaign with a pledge to build the strongest possible grassroots team, and that begins with an aggressive organizing operation that can reach voters in every corner of Ohio,” said Tim for Ohio spokesperson Izzi Levy. “This investment is a critical step toward building a strong Democratic Party and a robust coordinated campaign that’s ready to not only flip Ohio’s open Senate seat, but also carry pro-worker candidates up and down the ballot to a win in November.”
This announcement comes after Tim has broken Ohio fundraising records every quarter since launching his campaign last April, powered largely by small-dollar grassroots contributions, including from Ohioans in all 88 counties.
In addition to pledging to raise over $3 million for the coordinated campaign, the campaign will be using its broad-reaching email list, as well as coordinating with other campaigns and allied organizations on a digital fundraising “moneybomb” to help downballot candidates raise the resources they need to compete in their respective races.
